Finishing touches 

I added content to the photo page from pictures i took of the band

I then added more content to the other pages and lined them up 

Alex added the logo and added pictures to the merchandise page, created and placed the banner in also changed the fonts for the page links.

I then fixed up the final touches of the site aligned everything, made sure links where working and made sure the video auto plays opened, the pages show on every page and published the website.

 We decided to change back to the orange detailed background as it stands out from the blues we have used in out digipack and details on the website, it also brings out the orange we used alot in the music video

I in the end changed the style of the Cd to match the industrial style of the whole theme of the digi pack

As we changed our scheme to blue i edited the website background colour and finished of my digi packs

Digi pack creation

I went in to media from 11am- 3pm to start working on the digi pack properly so that adjustments can be made. 

i Started working on correcting the digi pack so i made the main park of it, then alex will be adding the cloudy sky on top with more detail

I then started on the spine of the digi pack made it simple but effective with the album title.

I then started on the actual CD i thought about keeping the gritty effect and done this effect one photoshop

Website creation

I looked at many different type of band websites and went on the basis of their layout and style

I chose this type of lay out as it was simple and stylish at the same time, i could see potential of creating a good band image for us though this website lay out

 

I first changes the pages names and chose the sweeping effect for the transitions of the pages.


I then added simple content for example the blog, the social network connections and links to the pages and options to buy. I then changed the font style to suit the theme.

My Contribution to music video

After looking at the feedback for the music video we knew we needed to film more for the final music video. On the 14th January 2013 i went out with my partner and shot the extras we needed to make the music video make more sense. I shot these scene and uploaded them to final cut, i then stayed behind for 2 hours and started to edit the extra shots and look at more logo designs as we still couldn't think of a final logo. 

On the 15th January 2013 i stayed behind from 4-7:30 and edited the extra clips with the right colour correction and in the right parts. I then to it upon myself to start on the website on wix as time was running out and progression had to start so it is finish in time. Our final colour scheme we came up with was orange, white and black so that it will be a consistent colour throughout to show brand identity.

Questionnaire and feedback from ruff cut

I asked 25 people boys and girls aged 16+ to fill out my questionnaire. I used Facebook to send out the links and some questions via inbox (10 people) and posted our video on twitter and sent out my questionnaire for it to be filled out  (10people) also paper handouts (5people) for them to fill my out questionnaire

that's really good guys, well done! Bits do need to be improved like the ending and performance but that great!

From all the answers gathered i know that the close ups and lighting are very strong  point in this music video. Some bits the camera is a bit shaky like the end that need to be improved. The narrative is clear so

the story line is understandable, however more or better performance needs to be done. The genre is clear to people and hey would recommend the video to friends and would watch it again. The music video goes well with the music. Our overall rating is around a 3-4 as there is improvements to make.
